| Hey Will...a few years ago (ok it was 83') your were on the road with David Sanborn and you and your axe became separated (Louisville I believe). Those fine folks at US Air had no clue but to offer a replacement (they were serious!!). Fast forward: a few hours later after finally tracking it down, I delivered it to you in the middle of the sound check (was working for Festival Productions). It was a good reunion. You were very appreciative for my efforts (just doing my job), gave me your card and offered up Letterman tics. Fast way forward: going to be in the city 3/8-9 if the offer hasn't expired. Thnx |

A big West Coast hello from guitarist Chris Clermont. I met you years ago ago when I used to tour with Steve Tyrell at Michael Feinstein's club @ the Regency. A few years afterward, my sister, a long time New Yorker, passed away suddenly, and we met again when I came to preside over her memorial service. We were at some club in the "meat packing" district listening to Lew Sollof who I was touring with at the time. You, Sandrine, and Narada Michael Walden were so warm to me that evening, and I will never forget it. You are blessed to be a blessing to others. Continue to do so! Hope to met again somewhere soon. There are a couple of Muscle Shoals connections in the CBS Orchestra. Paul inducted my friend Spooner Oldham into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. Also, Tom Malone recorded a solo CD at Muscle Shoals Sound called "Soul Bones". My friend Johnny Wyker produced Eddie Hinton's "Letters From Mississippi" which featured "Everybody Needs Love". I know this might be a longshot, but what the .... if you don't try.... 
First of all - I'm a big fan of your work...!!
I'm a danish bassplayer and have been so for almost 30 years. Check out my website.
Me and my good buddy (a great drummer) is going to New York in april 2012. Just a 10-day trip to check out the vibe in the big apple. (My first trip to NY)
I would really love to meet you, if you're up for it. Maybe just for a cup of coffee and a chat or such. I don't know if you actually are living in NY, but I guess you are there a lot because of the CBS orchestra... 
We're gonna be staying in lower east Manhattan.
Maybe you could suggest a couple of clubs or places with music that me and my friend should check out...? We would love to jam....
